When you perform a master cleanse, there’s a good chance you’ll fail if you’re not prepared for what you’ll experience. The biggest mistake you’ll make is jumping right in, thinking it will be a piece of cake. From personal experience, I’m here to tell you that it’s not easy, but I’m also a firm believer that anything that’s truly worthwhile never comes easy. However, if you have a true desire to lose weight, or even if your goal is just to vastly improve your overall health and vigor, then read on.
While performing the Master Cleanse, most likely you’ll experience some side effects, some of which include hunger, aches and pains, and irritability. Quite frankly, most people give up because of the hunger. So what is the first rule for finishing the Master Cleanse? Getting past the third day. Instead of focusing on the entire ten days of the cleanse, just promise yourself you’ll stick with it for at least three days. Breaking the cleanse down into smaller segments definitely makes it easier to accomplish.
The second tip for having a successful Master Cleanse is to be prepared to deal with aches and soreness. Although I didn’t experience headaches, they seem to be a common side effect complained of. Others have complained of body aches. To reduce aches, it is essential that you drink plenty of water. And don’t push yourself too hard while doing the Master Cleanse. Exercising should be kept to light walking and stretching. Your body will be going through a rigorous cleansing process and you should refrain from intense exercise during this time.
The third tip for a successful Master Cleanse is dealing with the irritability. This actually affects the people around you more then it does yourself, so it’s best to advise those closest to you that you’re about to undertake this cleanse so they can provide the moral support you’ll need. Also, try to plan your Master Cleanse when you’re not extremely preoccupied. Try to avoid it when you’re overloaded at work or when you have significant stressful events going on on your life.
